Nutritional Menu Plan for Preschool
Nutrition refers to family relationship between the nutrients found in foods and their influence on tender-hearted body (Sorte, Daeschel, & Amador, 2011, pg. 65). Good nutrition is imperative to a childs healthy development. Nutrient dense foods argon those foods that provide students with calories rich in the nutrient content necessary to be healthy. Setting up healthy goals can be a fun project with teachers and parents. In methodicalness to raiment up healthy goals there has to be a dedication from the teachers and parents. As a teacher I will cooperate with the food service staff to dish develop and engineer activities between the classrooms meals and the schools meals.
Using the food gain can help to identify food by the color shape and size, the large the section of color the more the food is needed for that group. The Food Pyramid has five groups the gain group, vegetable group, fruits group and the take out group. Having students develop posters based on the food groups would incorporate nutritional learning showing contrastive vegetable and fruits.
