III. Summary
? It was about a distressing couple, Mr. and Mrs. James Dillingham Young, who did not have profuse money to debase a gift for each other on Christmas.
? They alone had two precious things: the watch of Jim and Dellas long hair.
? To have enough money to buy presents for each other, finally Della decided to change her hair to buy a platinum fob twine for Jim; while Jim sold his watch to buy The Combs for his wife.
