Any watchword of euthanasia obliges a person to confront humanitys greatest feardeath (Pozgar, 2010).
There are numerous debates about the legality of assisted felo-de-se, some people conclude that physician assisted suicide is immoral, they have religious objections to assisted suicide, whilst others believe that they should be able to end their suffering in a manner and time which suits them and die with dignity. In this paper, I will discuss my thoughts and feelings about the subject, my opinion regarding its imp constitute on special populations, as well as to briefly detect the laws governing euthanasia in the state of Ohio.
An intolerance for suicide began to take hold in the second and third centuries and gained change magnitude momentum under the influence of Christianity. Whereas in the classical closure suicide was criticized only if it was irrational or without cause, Christianity saw this act as a direct defiance of or upset with Gods will; thus, suicide resulted in the self-renunciation of a Christian burial and tended to bring great dishonour upon family members. St. Augustine declared that life and its sufferings are divinely ordained by God and must be borne accordingly.

In the thirteenth century, the teachings of St. doubting Thomas Aquinas epitomized the intolerance for suicide. According to him, suicide violated the biblical commandment against killing and was ultimately the most dangerous of sins because it precluded an chance for repentance.
